What preperation do I need to do before taking delivery of my Hot Tub?

So you've ordered your new hot tub, but what should you be doing in way of preparing before it's arrival?

Well normally the customer will have to do a few basic things. Firstly you must make sure that the engineers/fitters will have the required access to order to get your new hot tub into place. Bear in mind that most hot tubs are relatively large, and one-peice in construction, so it is imperative that you provide the necessary room for Maneuver. Your hot tub provider should supply you with the minimum requirements or even visit your home and carry out a 'site survey'.

The second thing you need to consider is the area in which you will want your hot tub to be placed. This should of course be large enough, taking into account extras such as the cover folding back behind/to the side of the tub, and possibly the use of spa steps that in many cases will be required with the hot tub.

Finally, the customer normally has to provide the necessary electrical supply to run your new hot tub. Most suppliers should be able to give you exact requirements for this.

If you are unsure, contact a credible supplier or visit them online to check requirements. You can find standard electrical procedures for hot tubs here http://www.thehottubssuperstore.co.uk/delivery.html
