The Hot Tubs Superstore was born in early 2004, at a time when a good quality American hot tub cost over £10,000 in the UK - twice as much as the same unit in America. Wanting just 4 spas for members of our family, it was clear the only way to achieve value was to import them for ourselves. Recognising this gap in the market, we imported our first container for resale shortly after. This container load was sold before its arrival - as were the many that followed. In our first year, we sold 86 hot tubs and quickly realised the need for expansion, purchasing a brand new facility overlooking Blackpool airport. Our business model was simple: Import direct from American manufacturers and sell direct to the public - use our buying power to secure the very best prices; work for minimal profit per spa and rely on volume - keeping our prices LOW. |
|
The following busy years were spent establishing exclusive distribution contracts with several of America's most credible hot tub manufacturers. We have been ground breaking in our approach to the hot tub industry, being the first to implement free nationwide delivery, 0% finance schemes, online product videos and massive UK based stocks to eliminate long delivery periods - to name just a few measures. |
|
We are incredibly passionate about our business and determined to lead from the front; this goes a long way to explain our growth and success over the last 7 years. Today, the hottubssuperstore operate from our purpose built and family owned facility in Blackpool, Lancashire. We deliver and install hot tubs all over the country, 7 days a week, offering an unrivalled combination of quality and value. |

Purchased by us from new build in 2006, our Blackpool facility was at first just a 'shell' - although a pretty impressive one. We bought the building to specifically develop as a hot tub showroom and storage facility - to which end we spent the following 2 years or so designing and building the interior to meet our exact requirements. This hands on and gradual approach allowed us to make decisions (and change our mind!) on how best to equip a hot tub showroom - how should the upper floor be configured? Where should the wet rooms be? How should we store up to 200 spas to make them accessible for our delivery teams? - All these questions had to be answered. |
| Today, we love to give our 'guided tour' to those customers who visit our facility. We are proud of our showroom, and seeing what goes on in the background of the company aids customer confidence. After all, hot tubs are several thousand pounds; it's nice to see what a company is really all about. |

The Hot Tubs Superstore is an independent importer and retailer, allowing us to supply hot tubs from several of the largest American hot tub manufacturers. American manufacturing is rightly dominant in the spa market, the USA have been developing and fine tuning these products for half a century and have no rival. We have exclusive distribution rights with Premium Leisure (Florida), Cal Spas (California) and Strong Spas/Durasport Spas (Pennsylvania). We believe in strong relationships with our suppliers, all of whom we have dealt with for several years. |
We order spas in container quantities, generally unloading 2-3 containers per week into our Blackpool facility. Our warehouse will hold in excess of 150 hot tubs; often that number is equaled by spas 'on the water' - literally on a boat heading for us. It takes about 1 week to process a container from our factories, and up to 4 weeks to sail here, so forward planning allows us to keep large UK stocks - and the customer does not have to wait! |

We have 5, full time installation teams - each made up of two skilled and experienced men. Our installers are not subcontracted; they are our full time employees and a vital part of our business. |
Come the day of your hot tub delivery, our installers will call you as they leave our facility in Blackpool, giving you an estimated time of arrival. (We also call the day before with an accurate timing window - but we like to be efficient!). The team will arrive with you and deliver the spa to site using a specialist spa 'trolley' that holds the hot tub on its side, minimizing the access and workload needed. |
We pride ourselves on the 'full service', our team locate the hot tub where you wish; we then connect the electrical connection to the spa, fill the hot tub with the garden hosepipe, add chemicals to the spa and spend as long as necessary giving the customer a thorough, but down to earth education on maintaining all aspects of the spa (We are typically on site for around 3 hours). We feel this is essential, as almost all customers are quite understandably unsure about the running of a spa - and all information is greatly received. We receive tremendous feedback from the 'front line' of the business - please see for yourself on our reviews page. |
