Now in 2009 Mr. Schwarzenneger has officially congratulated Cal Spas on their 30th anniversary and acknowledged their contribution towards employemnt in the State of California. He also highlighted Cal Spas' commitment to the envoirnment, after the hot tub manufacturer received recommendations from the Californian Energy Commision (CEC).

A brief history of Cal Spas:

California Acrylic Industries began in the hot tub market in 1978 where they made 'minature' swimmimg pools to showcase their then main, pool business. Such was the interest in these pools that within 12 months manufacture of purpose made hot tubs began and Cal Spas was born.

Quickly outgrowing their 10'000sq ft facility, Cal Spas relocated to an all new 40 acre plant in Pomona, California.

After 16 years of successfully producing the finest hot tubs in the world, Cal Spas expanded their product range by adding, gas barbecues, gazebos, outdoor fireplaces, and outdoor grills. Cal Spas had a vision of becoming the world leader in the the manufacture of high quality items to enhance home living and adopted the saying by which they are known, 'Changing The Way You Feel'.

Today in 2010, Cal Spas have very much realised that dream and stand alone as the market leader in 'Backyard Living, and of course, hot tubs.
